Orange peel. Sorry, but there's really no way to avoid it unless you grind down the entire surface of the caliper which takes hours to make smooth all over. And a dremel doesn't cut it, you have to use a high speed sander or grinder with various grits. I know b/c I did it

Hey,it's not a hood or a fender.!!!
Check the surface of the calipers;not as smoothh as a body panel,so paint will follow.
Anyway,you won't see it after a few hard braking.
Stop posting about that,take off the wheels,grab a paint brush,and DO IT.!!!

I painted my calipers last week and they look sooo cool I've had a couple of friends already buy these kits after they saw the results of mine.
