That looks great.....Im gonna go and see if I can find a junked s2k tailight and give this project a try.....Im gonna make it yellow....so when im done....ill need a spa volunteer to try it on

brake lights must reflect red not any other color.

So answer my question......how do those american cars always have the black tailights??? I mean SOLID BLACK......light goes right through them, but when they are off, they are100% black.

The same way that the Defi gauges are black when they're off.

I don't know what you're talking about. Can you name a specific model? Some people also put illegal aftermarket taillights on their cars. Check out half of the riced out civics on the road for examples of illegal taillights. One of the companies that makes those lights got in quite a bit of trouble earlier this year for selling those illegal taillights.

To the best of my knowledge, this is not illegal. MANY MANY MANY domestics do this...(Firebirds are almost pitch black stock) So if this is not illegal, I dont see how my idea would be.....but what do I know...

I think that looks great on the Berlina, any other color though and it'd be too much, maybe ok on red if the headlights are done too.
