Default Pedal Adjustment

I've come to the conclusion that I am about 5% too large to fit "perfecty" in an S2000. (I'm 6'3", 210 lbs). Fortunately, I'm willing to experience a little bit of discomfort as a sacrifce for everything this car offers. For a while, I thought that a lower aftermarket seat would be the cure. It would move my legs down a bit from the steering wheel and set my torso at a more reasonable level. I'm not sure this is the answer now.

I've done a few 4 hour trips lately and about halfway through my butt has been falling asleep. I noticed that the angle made between my butt and knees is just a hair larger than that made between the rear and the front of the seat bottom. Basically, my legs are bent more than the seat is designed for. I could probably place a folded towel under my thighs to achieve the necessary support to distribute my leg weight on the seat and not concentrate it on my butt, but this would not help my "knees too close to the steering wheel" problem.

It got pretty bad at one point so I turned on the cruise control and placed both feet "under and behind" the pedals. Much to my delight, and somewhat to my concern, I found that I could completely straighten both legs all the way to the firewall. It felt fantastic. It freed up about 1.5 inches between my quads and the steering wheel. The seat load distribution was perfect. In fact, I could probably slide the seat forward an inch to recline it a few degrees for even more comfort. There was just the one detail about my feet being on the wrong side of the pedals...

I probably should have taken a good look at the pedal assembly before posting, but I didn't so here I am. Has anyone, specifically us lanky folk, thought about a custom pedal assembly, or perhaps custom pedal lever arms that would set the zero travel position back 5-10 degrees? I seriously think that this would be the perfect solution for taller drivers.

Would you still have enough travel left with that setup?
Especially for the clutch and throttle.

The clutch take-up occurs at only 20% travel or so. The throttle might be an issue. It was dark when I took a look yesterday but there is a stop behind the throttle. I wonder if that is a removable part or built into the firewall...I'll check again today.
