I bought my car just about 2 years ago and have never had a front plate. I have been pulled several times and not one mention about it. I had a Fairfax County officer pull up beside me to tell me that my license plate stickers were expired, luckily I had the new ones in the car. I just hadn't put them on yet and he kept on going. Don't put a front plate on. I wouldn't put it in the passenger side of the windshield because all it will do is attract attention.

Ah...but if the bumper plugs are in...you're pretty much f*cked....then they will know you were lying to them...

Food for thought....

I think there are enough things that we can do with this car that are illegal. Why worry about just one? Hyperwhite turn signals, removing the cat, no front plate, and aftermarket exhausts (Richmond police seem to have a real problem with this), not to mention speeding Hell, I haven't had a county sticker on a car of mine for 3 years. Don't sweat going without a license plate, it really isn't worth the trouble of trying to come up with an excuse.

I never had a front plate on any of my cars. Never once been pulled over for driving without front tags. Lucky I guess.
