the stock wheels weigh 17.8 and 18.8 lbs, front and rear respectivly. I got these numbers personally using a digital scale that is accurate +/- 0.1 lbs.

i dont have the weights of the stock tires written down, but I recall that the 225 S-02 was nearly identical to a 225 Kumho V700, which weighs 25.2 lbs. A 225 Hoosier A3S03 weighs 20.4 lbs.

enjoy.

CTHREE,Spoon Sports wheel they are not made of cardboard,I saw a scale with the rear stock wheel misuring approx. 9.5 kg, very far from your calculation of 5 pounds.
The Spoon wheels are 5.4 kg each.
Without any doubt you made a mistake when calculate that.

America Airlines aircraft are polished aluminium for the same reason. Except the weight loss is for fuel, not performance in the same sense as we're thinking.

Luis;I know the weigth of Amuse,I was talking about what a customer choose and the weight saving on the parts he bought not on the lighter parts available.

What do you think about your new rotors addition;was worth it?
We are preparing a Big brake kit with Porsche part;I should have it ready to install in my car in a month.

Visually, a definite yes.

Performance wise, I have not noticed any difference (except for the grating noise and obscene amount of pad dust on the wheels and body).

Luis,

Is it possible that you have lost some braking ability?

I realize they may be more fade resistant over many stops such as track days but in ultimate stopping distance what do you feel?
