Okay, the new window regulator has been in for a couple weeks.. no problems yet. The part, which has supposedly been updated, is part #72250-S2A-A01. I don't have the old part number for comparison. Anybody?

DJ:

My guess is that the updated part (window regulator) that the dealer put in your car is the first update and has been known to work for about 8 months (in HOT weather). The new part isn't here and won't be for at least a couple months.

The dealers did get a communication from Honda on September 10 stating that the first updated parts didn't work as well as expected.

My purpose for posting is so that others won't rush out to get the supposed latest updated part.

I'll post when the final updated part is here in the US.

Hope this helps,

Woodwork

Woodwork: Do the '02 cars have the updated part? thanks. BTW, are the '02 cars cured of the transmission rattle?

Thanks.
