Default Driver's Side Window Problem

Has anyone experienced a problem with the driver's side window not automatically going down when you drop the top? It will go down an inch or so, but that is it. I have to hit the button again to make the window go down all the way. The passenger window goes down fine, it is only the driver's side.

the same thing happened to me. I just got it fixed yesterday for free because the car is still under warranty. You probably need a new window regulator.

My driver side window does that intermittently. It would go down 1/2 way then stop. Don't plan on taking it in to service since it's no a big deal to me.

Got mine fixed twice also and is working fine now.

Read your thread RT, guess I wasn't the only one going back for it three times to get it right.

Thanks for the help. It sounds like replacing the motor will be my best bet. The car is still under warranty, so I am going to bring it into the dealer and have them do it. I hope for their sake that they fix it right the first time. I will keep everyone posted.

Mine just started doing it, just after I took it in with another problem (TP sensor). I'll wait on taking it in for the window...
