Pets in your S2k?
I take my 10 lb. Sheltie in my car all the time. She doesn't mind the top being down until a big Semi or SUV goes by, and the she gets a bit nervous. Due to her small size, she's very easy on the seats.
My blond lab sits on a towel and is harnessed in. The harness lets him lay down if he wants. When his ears are fully extended (read flopping) in the wind I get better stability at higher speeds
My 2 cats are allowed in the S2K, but only in their kitty carrier
. They have very sharp claws and would probably scratch or even tear the leather if I were to let them loose in the interior.

My Ferret is in mine almost every weekend. I just let him run around everywere. I put a big shirt over the seats to keep him from scratching them if he tries to get in the back (where the top folds into).
I used to have a Wrangler, and would take LiLu, she's a Husky for rides all the time...I haven't taken her in the S2K yet...but the other day she jumpped in and sat down in the seat like a good girl... when a friend of mine was looking at the car... and she didn't want to get out...boy I think she knows a great ride when she sits in one! but I still FREAKED! Didn't want the seats to get torn...
Took my friends New Civic, when she need to go to the vet the other day...
