Other than Steve/Bass (because he has begged me for this since I mentioned it in passing over a YEAR ago!), all orders will be dealt with in the order people posted interest. So, Steve (Bass) will be first (ass kisser
), Jeff (Stratocaster) is 2nd, Dave (w1ngman) is 3rd, etc.
Think of it this way, since Steve gets to go first, if anything blows up we can all say (in unison now) "It's not MY car!" If Steve's car is still in one piece after a few hours of operation, I'll start having people ship me their stuff in clumps of 5. I will start a new thread with pics, descriptions, and a list of potential clients in order of interest. As each set of 5 is taken care of, they will be separated to the top of the list.
For those few of you out there that are aware of what my following ideas will be (either through email, PM, talking, etc.)...PLEASE do not share any of this info, either publically or privately, with anyone else. I love to share my ideas and get feedback on projects, but recent circumstances have shown that being so open can bite me in the ass. From now on, I will only share my ideas as they are approaching the prototyping stage and ideas/suggestions can be incorporated into a working (or near-working) product. No, I will not publicly go into detail as to what those circumstances are.
To continue refining my business philosophy and getting/retaining customers, discounts will be offered to repeat customers (i.e., if you order this windscreen, you'll receive a discount on the purchase of any other project I create).
Oh, and no, other than a few lucky individuals, no info has yet been released about my next project. I have tossed several ideas around, but up until now couldn't decide which should have priority. I've decided, and barring any major event that makes me change my mind, the project will move from the drawing board into the full design phase within a few days. Cost will depend HEAVILY upon parts count and final size of the PC board, but my back-of-the-napkin-in-my-head guesstimate puts it somewhere in the $200-$400 range (the cheaper, the better, of course). There is also potential to make pieces of it optional, so you can pay more for increased functionality, not just when you order, but in the future, as well. But I digress...

Just received an email from the board house...they say the files look fine, everything is there, and the boards should ship out by Wednesday
I don't know how vast snail mail is when it comes from Canada (British Columbia) into the US, so if anyone has experience with cross border mail, it would be appreciated.
