For the life of me, I cannot figure out why someone would want to put a tinted cover over their license plate. Is this to keep the sun out of its eyes? Are you really worried about it fading?

Especially in Cali, you're asking for trouble.

Anyway, glad you didn't get a ticket. Too bad he was a bit of a jerkoff, but hey, it's Cali.

WHy are you interested in hiding your license plate? Because others are doing it? Seriously, you are asking to be harassed.

I guess you can tell the officer theres a engine under the hood. As far as opening the hood, you can refuse to open your hood if you have nothing to hide, till the officer request a search warrent he can't really force you to pop your hood, also thats if you have nothing to hide and haven't broken any major laws. I have two family member in law inforcement but i'm on the east side, don't know how they do it on your side.

this is when i was in my accord. i got pulled for having a tint plate cover but the main reason was to see what was under the hood. (nothing illegal, all carb legal) i didnt even get a ticket. he seem more interested in what was under the hood. i didnt even put on the my current tags. (was in the glove box)

mods: aem sr intake, dc sport header, msd wires, aem pulleys, dc strut bar, red ground wires, and most of the parts are in red
