Tried the fix -> no luck.

Dealer TSB -> solved problem, tho my window is definitely louder than before. Maybe its a stronger motor. Oh well, it works!

[B]The number of reports that this does not fix the problem supports my suggestion that maybe the activity of cycling the window makes the problem temporarily go away, not the "reset".

mas,

I would just make it go up and down several times and it would go away for about a week.

Now I have the new -03 part installed, and I have not had one problem, even though there was a couple weeks it sat in the humid garage.

I strongly suggest anyone with their car still under warranty go get this part installed.

Honda DOES know about it. I heard about it 15 months ago from a feller from Utah. He told me how to fix it, and that Honda saw his post and asked him to pull it until they could research it.
Haven't the faintest idea why, but they didn't want anyone to know about the fix. Maybe becuse it isn't always a permanent fix.

Another vote for: "It worked for a while, but ended up having the regulator replaced anyway because the problem kept reoccuring..."

What 03 part, I am not aware of it? How long ago was it replaced? My dealer did offer to replace the parts but with the same ones so I did not bother. Is there a newer part than the last one they came up with as a fix? Any TSBs?

Thanks!

PS: It's been over 3 months since I cycled it the last time and it's been working fine so far.

Honda issued an original TSB for a part with a -02 ending. Ppl had it replaced and the problem came back anyway. They issued a new TSB in April along with a new part number -03, evidently that does the trick because I haven't heard anybody complain about it, including myself.
