Default possible rear glass solution?

Has anybody bought this? know anyone who has used this company for anything else? Any thoughts would be appreciated. At 685 with a defrost and elastic straps it seems like a deal and a half.

Never heard of them, most use the OEM 02 and newer top. When retro fitting a glass window. It could very well be the same part.

Moving to S2000 talk, as it's a product inquiry.

Pretty nice, ~$200 less then OEM from Hardtopguy, custom colors, and comes with a conversion kit for 00-01 frame.

Too bad I already picked up a new top.

You sure it comes with a conversion kit? I didn't seem anything about that in the description. Unless I misunderstood something?

I would love to do this, but it's definitely on the back burner at the moment.

Sweet. I wonder who's going to be the first GPW to get a tan top? That would be cool.

Subscribing!

Please keep us updated on this, as my top will need to be replaced (again).

Do you have a shop lined up to do the labor? There seems to be as much cost associated with install as the part itself.

Good Luck!

p.s. Alexz (screen name) got a cloth top installed about 6 months ago, for a great price. You might wanna PM him for his impressions.

I e-mailed the company about the difficulty of the install and this is what I got.

"The top comes with straps, These are about making the glass window work with your current top frame.
The only special tool you may need, besides normal household tools, would be a rivet gun.
The installation is meant for a professional, but instructions are included."

I don't like the sound of this rivet gun. It makes me think the top might not be tight enough and might make a lot of noise at speed. Which means more $ for an install. Any one been quoted a price on this type of install?

The other option is a $1200 frame + motor and 04 top. What do you guys think?
