I'm planning to end my baby's winter hibernation, and wonder if there's anything special I should do (beyond oil change, check fluids, tire pressure, etc)?

Any/all tips are welcome!

 

Treat your window seals, trunk seals, hood seals with some kind of silicone grease or emulsion.
Silicone spray your 4 CV boots and 2 steering rod boots.
Give your interior a go with protectant and leather treatment.
Check your air filter (clean enough?) and filter box for evidence of mice.
Fill your gas tank up if it wasn't full at the beginning of storage.
White lithium grease all you latches (hood, doors, trunk).
Wash and polish the paint.
Check the condition of your brake and clutch fluid. They may have sucked up water over winter.
If you are really anal, pull the fuel pump fuse and crank you engine over for about 15 seconds to get the oil going before actually firing it up.
After you fire it up, check for leaks.
How's your tranny and diff fluid?
Engine coolant level?
Serpentine belt condition?
Does your battery connections need a bit of cleaning?

Questions:
Do you recommend a specific type of silicone grease or emulsion for the hood/trunk/window seals?

Also, afraid I'm ignorant here, is white lithium grease available at my local auto supply store?

Last question: how can I tell if my brake/clutch fluid have sucked up water over the winter?

Shin-Etsu Grease is available at www.handa-accessories.com
it is what honda recommends for your rubber seals (convert top, windows, etc)
