Crappy Cup Holder Invalidator

I keep a bottle of pop between the seat and the door next to the lower belt anchor.

I'm new here but found cheap gas gets 26 mpg, 91-93 octane gets me 31 mpg. also hat stays on fine until about 95.

has any one tried to wire a switch to the electric fuel pump???

I get to drive ~100 miles/day doing home health in the heart of the Ozarks, windy roads and hills all day long.

If you rock an Hardtop and still have a softtop, take the hardtop off at night, it helps keep the softtop closing right or at least on the weekends.

Make sure people see that you have turned off your brights, it will dissuade them from flashing their lights at you because of your HIDs.

^^^^Always pump premium, detonation sucks!

2) If you forget to latch your top down and end up on the freeway at 80mph, the top will start to rise up because of the wind. You've got about 1 sec to grab the center handhold and yank that sucker down....or it's bye bye top. oh yeah...work out your right arm for this.
wtf..... how did you find this out?

dont tell me you've done this

i can't say i have seen much about this tip here...there is a pocket behind the passenger seat that is perfect for that envelope containing your owners manual and tire warranty,etc.. also a ramdom cd or two.
also a cd or two can fit between the passenger seat and your center console and is handy for quick changes.

i keep cd's vertically in cases in my glove box, they come out easily and go in easily, alas they do trash around sometimes when i do not have a full load.

i also keep a maglite, full size, slung in the web pocket on the passenger side of the center hump, down and to the right of the radio...mostly it works well and is handy for use for either self defense or light. removel of it sometimes for large passengers is no issue and nobody seems to notice it.

always keep a towel or two in the car someplace, it comes in handy in soooo many ways, also a garbage bag, first aide kit, knife, bungy cord to tie town the trunk for short trips with large things.

My tips,

Enjoy the car.
Keep it in a garage.
Care for the soft top.
Don't race faster cars..and there are many out there.
If people call you "fag" just say something like, "you'd probably be the best judge of that" ...they'll just look at you like an idiot.
Get a good alarm with proximity.
Get rid of the factory stereo.
Wave at other s2k drivers.

Oh, and get used to the fact that 3/4 tank indicated on the (fuel) gauge is in reality about 1/2 tank.

I've had my S for 4 days now and I've found the posts here brilliant.

I don't think I've seen this tip before before but I've taken the ash tray out of the cup holder compartment which leaves an inset at the bottom of the compartment deep enough to keep coins without them sliding about all over the place.
