Wearing a hoody makes top down at 60 degree temperature comfortable even at 80 mph!

I use trip A for gas mileage and trip B for oil change interval.
Trip B resets after "999." you change your oil every 1000 miles?

yep, I do the same thing. I actually keep one of the blue Chevron paper squeegee wipes folded up and tucked behind the plastic piece on the back of the fuel door (the thing that holds the gas cap when you're pumping gas). when I pull out the nozzle, I have the blue paper folded up and laying flat underneath-- and it catches fuel drips every time.

I haven't tried Saki GT's "tap and jerk" techniquie, but that seems like it'd work as well.
well I tried Saki GT's "tap n jerk" and it still dripped on my paint. paper towel under nozzle is a foolproof way to keep fuel off the paint.

I've never had any problems jiggling the pump around, then rotating it as I pull it out so it's not pointing down at my car where it can spill on my paint.

It's not rocket surgery

Good tip!

Actually, now that my driver seat has broken down on the left leg bolster, I'm kind of not going to oppose the idea of someone stealing my stock seats. I'm pretty sure I could use the money to buy new seats and a removable wheel and hub so my fat legs could climb out without hurting the seat. Then again, after 8 months of ownership I'm pretty sure I'm not the one who destroyed it. Not that I'm encouraging it, cause it would be a HELL of an inconvenience to say the least, but I've just already accepted that when you have something there's a chance somebody will steal it no matter how much you protect it.

WASHING THE CAR
Ok, now for something useful and on topic! After washing the car, dry the trunk then open it and completely dry off the edges and covered gaps. Otherwise you'll get drips when you open the trunk on your freshly shined and washed car.

After washing and drying, hold a towel at the base on the door below the mirror base. Tap the mirror with the blunt slide of your hand to shake out the water hiding there or the next time you open the door it'll run down the door.

Remember to have a pack of condoms prepared in your glovebox.
You never know when the time will come

And always check the date on the box in case the condoms expire.

I rarely use the door handles to open the door at all. Once I unlock the car, I just "pop" the door open an ich or so and use the outside rim of the door to open the rest of the way.

The way i see it, the handle is only plastic and will eventually break down over the years. Be careful not to grab the rubber weatherstripping on the door flange by the window as it will seperate doing this technique.

The opposite of brain science.

My useful tip; swapping out the radio antenna for the Element one improves FM reception (at least in Honolulu).
