I think so too. Or a parking receipt or a couple of dollars.

Next to the tools I've put: fixaflat, 12 oz plastic bottle of water & a flash light wrapped in small towel. Water & towel for whatever cleanup may be necessary, fixaflat obvious as well as flashlight. Stuff fits tight and doesn't rattle. Had to open the trunk and carboard top to verify to respond to this thread. In the trunk have detailer wrapped in towel for body cleanups when not at home. Also have 2 paper floor mats that dealers use to protect carpet. In case shoes get muddy or ? the carpets/mats can be protected.

Cubby compartment holds garage open behind elastic band. Put sun glasses & cell phone there also (how can one hear or talk when driving this car and shift also (safely)? In the "secret" compartment is manual, registration, insurance card and small note pad w/pen. Use note pad to record gas mileage & maintenance data.

Trip odometer A use for keeping track of mileage between fillups (haven't use odometer "B"-would have to look in manual to find out how to access! Keep my CD case (24) behind the passenger seat back so I have gain access while driving. Bought one of those rubber change gizmos ($2) and keep change in that in the cupholder cavity & no rattling of coins! I'll have to check out the space under the seat for I never new there was usable space there (dealer left one of those metal door locks under the passenger seat & for 2 weeks couldn't figure out the metal clanging - thought I was abusing the transmission!). I've had the car since 5/15 & have put on 3200 miles. Use it for daily driver & will until the start of snow in late October or early November.

after taking the spare tire and toolkit out ... i replaced the spare with an amp, and the toolkit with a rectangular tupperware containing:

fix-a-flat, manuals, rope, tow hook, toilet paper (you never know), first-aid kit, sun-tan lotion, feminine hygiene product (you never know), spare contacts, couple tools, couple hoses/ clamps, mobil-1, and much more. wrapped the tupperware with a bungee cord, and layed a nice mexican blanket over the well. that way i can thrown something across a cold, whining passenger and keep the top down!

Here's my $0.02:

I've also heard "boo foo Egypt." I do the same thing with the rear-view mirror. If I remember my physics correctly, there is a vitual image which is at the specified angle determined by the adjustment lever.

The slot in the radio door is good for receipts, a buck or two, and toll tickets. Sun glasses actually fit in their too. Registration and insurance is in the secret compartment. I used the elastic in the glove box for my garage remote, until I got a Homelink. Now I keep a pen and air pressure gauge there.

In the trunk I carry a set of Griot Garage's plastic coated sockets (for the lug nuts) to prevent scratching the paint on the wheels.
I have a detailing bag. It has microfiber towel, quick detailer, California dusters, paper towels and a bottle of seltzer water to quickly neutralize any bird droppings. This prevents etching of the paint.

Watch out of this. Can you believe that this is illegal in the state of Florida? It's due to the fact that law enforcement cannot readily see your license plate. We were out on a drive and a cop told us about this.

Oh, and on the subject, I keep business cards in the radio door slots with info about s2ki.com. When I see another S out and about, I leave a card. I also keep an air compressor in the truck for slow-bleeding flats.

As, for driving tricks, don't get off and back on the throttle halfway though a turn. Bad things happen. Trust me.

parking: if parking on the end, i always park forward ... back bumpers are much cheaper to replace than front, so if someone comes around the corner to close, the bill will be less.

total anal move: when given the choice of turning left or right (like when going up several flights in a garage) i always go to the left ... they always say greater percentage of turns are to the right, and given that we don't rotate our tires, i figure i might as well try to even it out when given the chance.

top boot: my elastic straps always vibrated in the wind, so i found that if you do one twist before buckling them, they don't flap.

tritium: are you a scientist too?
