Post your "daily tips" here
If you carry your cell phone clipped to your belt on your right side, be very careful getting in and out of the car. A cell phone scraped against the steering wheel can leave a nasty scratch on it or the center section.
Try clipping your cell phone on your left side.

Keep a small tube of sunscreen in the secret compartment. You never know when what was supposed to be a short drive to eat lunch somewhere turns into a few hours on a great day driving with the top down laughing about the people who are back at the office.
-Put a piece of towel/napkin under the fuel nozzle since the S are known for puking out at the pump, don't even think of squeezing more gas into it, it will vomit straight out.
-top catcher rattle can be dampered by lube and zipties
-don't put down the top 100% for those with plastic rear, a 95% down will not put a hard fold on the plastic
-you can relocate all the spare tools into the spare wheel well, i am carrying extra jumper cable and an emergency kit with me also. Make sure you wrap them up with shipping material so they sit tight and nice. This way you have more trunk room and lets weight to rotate
-i keep a rubber mat in the glove box so the loose item wouldn't rattle, i use it to cover my knob when it's beening parked under the sun.
-use some rubber insert to damper some vibration for the oe cd changer, the older unit are knowb for skipping over bumps and clutch buzz
-you can make your own console leather cover, i diy'ed mine for less than 10 buck worth of material.
-add a catch can for your S, homedepot air compressor filter have the smallest passing element(unlike your jdm unbaffled unit) and it's cheap. I caught alot of oil already, it would sucks for it go straight into the manifold.

I haven't tried Saki GT's "tap and jerk" techniquie, but that seems like it'd work as well.
iam7head-- could you pls give more details to your home depot air compressor catch can? (this isn't really the appropriate thread-- as this thread is for daily driving tips-n-tricks, but you might want to start a brief thread in the Under the Hood section-- I'll be interested to read it.)
thanks all, and keep the tips coming.

When it comes to gas, after the pump kicks off, I'll tap the nozzle on the metal receptor of the car, and then just pull away fast - any drippage will fall away from the car.
I do carry my cell phone clipped to my left side but that only serves to wear the leather on the seat in an area already prone to wear. So far, haven't come up w/a solution.
I was looking for something to hold my cell phone & sunglasses and found this at Office Depot for $7

It makes more sense wedged between the passenger seat and console by the llumbar support in a S2000 than where they show it.

Attempting my 1st oil change, I was aggravated by the poor access to the rear of the engine given with the stock hood support. Using a load binder from the hood latch to the roll bar kept the hood vertical and gave much better access to oil filler hole. Another thing that comes in handy is if you cut off the top of a 2 liter plastic soda bottle and clean in out to use as a oil funnel.

I've only heard it as "Bum F**k, Egypt".
Like city, then country.

Not that there's anything wrong with Egypt, it just a good example of a far away place where you wouldn't want to be sodomized.
For my tip. Driving with the top down completely elminates the blind spots. I always have to look twice changing lanes with the top up.
parking blocks
whenever its possible... a good trick to parking as close to a parking block
without hitting, is to use reflections, either from the car beside you
(especially if its a nicely waxed black car) or a store window
cat busted
...and heres something else i took a gamble with when i caught a cat on my car...
1. click the lock button once (so that the cat is warmed up and wont be too startled by the next step)
2. double click the lock button twice for the honk (so the horn gets his attention)
now do this a few more times to warm him up for the next step if he is still on the car...
3. hit the panic button! in my case, he just walked off casually at this point
