Potential Problem With OEM Headlight Mounts
I don't know if this is unique or if anyone else has noticed this condition:
The gunmetal gray/black plastic surround, just below the HID headlight appears to be blistering. I am not talking about the lamp bezel itself, but the flat horizontal area just below the light.
My guess is that it is the result of heat, presumably from the headlamp bulb. The lights are stock, the car has 20,000 miles on it. We live in a temperate climate where we seldom have days above the 90 degrees. The car is generally garaged or parked in the shade.
Anyone else notice this? Are there any TSBs on the subject?
Thank you in advance for your input.

Thanks, Utah,
After your first reply, I did the search and found the same thread. The lesson is search first, ask question second if you don't find a thread.
My car is due for service and I will get in on record that we have the problem.
