They didn't grip nearly as good as the S-02's. I really don't drive the car in wet conditions so S-03's are really not the choice for me.

Hey guys are there any other replacement tires for the S that are similar quality to the potenza that aren't as exspensive?

Yoko AVS Intermediates, I hear. Slight loss of grip, but a lot cheaper. Those are going to be my next set (for the street).

Which tires are better in rainy weather, the S-03's, AVS Int., or Michelin Pilot's? I'm getting a little uneasy driving the car in the rain since I heard someone here hydroplaned and rear ended their car into a guard rail with the stock tires.

The S03's are better in rain. But I still think they are better on dry than the S02's. they brought my 1/4 mile time down slightly, because of the added grip. and I now have gotten a 13.795 second run, since getting the new tires.

I replaced the 02's with 03's (205/245) several thousand miles ago --- it's pretty wet down here -- I prefer the 03's ... especially since the 02's lost grip last summer after a summer rain.
