Default Price of a 2002 S2000???

Hi all. New to the forum. I want to buy an '02 in white. Is it possible to get the car now at MSRP or better? Or am I dreaming? I live in SF and all the dealers in the Bay Area want $5K over!!!

Check out this thread. Talk to Phil and tell him I sent you. They are within 3 hrs of SF and were the closest I could find to the Bay for MSRP.

Let's see.....three hour drive or $5K........hmmmmmm

Hey Jimbo, thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately when I called the 800 #, there was no connection. Do you have their regular land line? Thanks again bud!!!

That's wierd - I had no problems with the number.

Try this:

phil@mercedhonda.com

He seems pretty good about email.

some dealers in houston also list 3k-5k over msrp, but i found several dealers willing to sell at msrp through internet sales.

Actually s22k makes a great point. Calling and asking for the Internet/Fleet Manager will save you a lot of time with the showroom monkeys. These are the guys that are willing to pull the trigger on MSRP deals.

That's me. I ended up paying more than MSRP still, but I liked the service and attitude of the salesman of Ray Fladeboe Honda . Really honest and helpful guy. I could always get a hold of him whenever I had questions.

Unlike most of the Bay Area dealers, their attitudes are just ridiculous.

Danny (Internet sales) from Honda of El cerrito is pretty nice, he was trying to make a deal with me for $1000 over MSRP (2 weeks ago). But his manager was such an idiot and wouldn't let go of the car for at least $2500 over. I heard they recently sold the car to a member here for MSRP. Haha.
