Hi everyone. I've been reading this forum while I hopefully save up for a S2000. Anyway, while surfing for S2000 info I found http://www.collegehillshonda.com/new/s2000.../s2k02price.htm which claims the 2002 MSRP is $32,400. If this is true, how dare they attempt to raise the price by 0.3%!!!

 

No, the MSRP for 2001 model is only $32,740, price DROPPED!!! check here. So now i wonder the price for Canada since my damn dealer is asking $2000 more on the MSRP!!!

 

As far as I understand it, Honda Canada has not yet released pricing information on the '02 S2000 models. This is based on my discussion with a local Sales Manager earlier this afternoon.

For '00, the MSRP was 32,415 including destination charge... for '01 the MSRP was 32,740 (including destination charge?)... I wouldn't be surprised if it DID go up by 0.3%.... Maybe it's 32,400 + some destination charge?

 

Apparently the British price has stayed the same at 25,995 pounds.

 

2001: $32,400 + $340 destination charge = $32,740.

If this information is correct:
2002: $32,400 + $440 destination charge = $32,840.

So that would explain the 0.3% increase in price.

 

I'm still looking for a dealer that will sale the 2002 at MSRP. They all tell me that I will have to see what the price is when they come out. The line of bull I get from them is that they don't know untill they get them.

 

I posted the text of the e-mail we got at our dealership on another thread. The price is 32,400 plus 440 destination or a total MSRP of $32,840. And we do sell them at MSRP. Presently we have 3 incoming that are available. E-mail me if you have any questions.
