My understanding is that there isn't even a minor difference between the 04 and the 05 ... I don't think there were any changes, although they may have changed the plant where they assemble them in Japan. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong ... I'm not as expert on the history of the S2K as some others on this forum. My model year 05 was actually manufactured in November 04. I got the Suzuka blue and paid $29.9K (before tax and license) in January 05. Good luck, you'll love the car, regardless of which you get.

I saw a newspaper ad last week, brand new S2000 for $28500, from Paragon Honda in NY. So I am guessing '04 has to be atleast couple of thousand less than that price.
