I'm starting to have the same issue with my 15 year old Integra, turns out to be a leaking master cylinder. Look under the dash and where the plunger goes into the master cylinder, do you see fluid leaking? Check the master cylinder at the firewall.

Good luck!

they changed all fluids when i first got the car about 2 months ago
Are you sure? I was told the same thing, and ended up having to buy new rear brakes. I'd have your tranny fluid checked.

I had the same issue.

The car is a 2002 ap1, 45k miles, still under certified warranty.

I bought the car in july, warranty ended in october.

Noticed the car was getting very hard to put into gear, I had to lean on the stick with my body and force it into gear to get it to move (Move to the dealership anyways)

Turns out it was a master clutch cylinder failure, and I was lucky to get there because I had a simultaneous master brake cylinder failure and some other odd failures all at the same time.

However jamming the car into gear did something to my 1st and 2nd gear so I have a grind now that was not there previously.

ALSO the dealer did an oil change and put the wrong oil (too thick) into my transmission making it hard to go into 1st and 2nd again.

If your clutch seems to engage at the very bottom of its throw then you might want to check your clutch cylinder.

P.S. Anybody else have reliability issues with these cars as far as electrical stuff...
Ive had 3 hondas and they ALL have had window problems... the most recent being the window MOTOR dying (Yes I know about the faulty auto-regulator things).

Both windows should go all the way down @ the same time.

The window thing is pretty common. I had my regulator replaced under warranty long ago. Others have found that a process of resetting the auto-down function will remedy the problem.

Possible fix for the auto-rolldown problem.
