Over the past couple of days my driver side window has developed a problem. When I press the roof button to let the top down, the dop and passanger side windows go down, but the driver side window will only go down an inch or 2 and then stop and I have to press the power window button to go down.

Is my window accuator messing up, and will honda replace it under warrenty, or what is wrong?

I'm having the same problem fixed right now on my car. I'ts the relay switch that they will have to replace and it is covered under warranty. There have been a few others here that have had the same problem and they got it fixed under warranty as well. If they don't have to order a part then it should only take about a day to fix.

Where is the relay switch located at? Is it in the driver side door or in the transmission tunnel?

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't this fix require replacing the entire motor assembly?

I had the same problem last year. The dealer ordered a replacement part for it, but strangely enough, the problem went away by itself.

Anyone else with a similar experience?

I've had it once so far, but when I lowered the top a couple of days later it didn't happen. Wierd, but I guess if its persistent, I could do that, the second gear grind, seat belt, etc all at the same time. Man, I hope I don't help the differential problem too, that would suck.

Several members have had this problem. I too have it. The relay switch was changed right before it got too cold in the NE. Before I got home the same problem came back.

Others have also had this experience. Whe the weather improves they will be changing the motor. I believe that this fixed it for others too.

Has this issue been addressed before the MY2001's came out?
