I've got two in my closet. First one didn't fit perfectly so I got a second one as a 'warranty' replacement from RM. It never flew off, I just got tired of the extra care needed to drive around with these things. I'll sell one or both to anyone in the Long Beach CA area. (Shipping these is a pain.)

The RM is a great piece. I've still got my first one that is now over a year old. It's got 7 or 8 track days (with about that number of off-track excursions) and at least 7 or 8 thousand street miles in addition.

For use in the Open Track Challenge, RM provided me with 3 splitters to be used on the S2000s competing - Doug Hayashi's, Dave Kennedy's, and Rylan Hazelton's. All three cars performed very well, splitters surviving intact throughout the week. I personally drove Doug's car between tracks (~2000 street miles in one week) and had no problems. Since his car is lowered it did take a lot of care going in and out of gas stations.

$195 is a bit pricey for what you get, but when used in combination with some sort of rear downforce, the effect is dramatic.

There may be fancier looking pieces out there, but I've yet to see anything more effective than RM's.

what is wrong with the one that "didnt fit perfectly". i might be interested in one of them if you wanted to ship it to upstate ny, and if the price was right.
