Problems / Solutions reported by Honda and by Owners
I apologize. I got so excited by your wonderful post, and though it was being compiled for a FAQ.
As a MY02 owner, it's a lot of reading to find applicable TSBs, etc.
Just trying to help.

During delivery of my MY02, I asked that wheel alignment be checked. Dealer suggested I wait at least 600 miles or so and bring it in for this. Last week, with 1600 miles, I had the alignment checked. It was out of spec in 4 areas.
RF camber was -0.2 degrees
LF toe was 0.08"
RR camber was -1.3 degrees
LR toe was 0.24"
The car has not hit even a small pothole or even a hard bump, so I suspect this misalignment was "as delivered".
Because I had the dealer do the alignment according to specs I provided (taken from elsewhere on this forum) they wanted to charge me $150 for the alignment. I argued that it should be covered by warrantee as the above specs are outside of Honda's allowable range. They reduced the price to $89.95, but I am going to complain to the owner of the dealership who I know personally . . . just hate to bug him about it.
Anyway, you might add wheel alignment to your list.
Also, has anyone had a "custom" alignment covered by warranty?

Great work dlq04! I especially appreciate the tranny info, all the details...now I wanna slow down my 1-2 shifts! Had the 1-2 grind fix on my 00, but it still occasionally rears its ugly head, last time when I recently lost a stoplight race to a mercedes!
I also have some minor bubling on my dash, although it is minor, IMO.
It still starts and drives like a race car, and thats all I need!
How about the rear window (00 & 01) replacement TSB?
Mine is scratched more than I'd like, but its not all that bad yet, but I may get the TSB replacement rear window soon.

re item 26, bucking in first. I think wording about "improper" technique
is overstated. I do believe most occurances are driver induced, caused
by bouncing on and off the gas pedal. The recoil of the seat seems
tuned to turn the driver's derriere and leg into a pendulum on the accelerator.
The impetus is a sharp application of gas, pushing the bottom back, pulling the
foot off the gas, the seat and decelleration pushing the driver forward back on
the gas, lather, rinse, repeat. Taking foot completely off the gas and reapplying
smoothly is advised; if that does not work, then maybe there are TPS issues,
but usually the driver has been caught out. Embarassing, and very tempting to
blame the car. The gearing and the throttle response in this part of the pedal
movement don't help, but usually it's from too much of a mash.

" Some owners report Poor Quality Clutch Springs, causing noisy vibrations when decelerating between 3k and 4k rpms " I test drove someone's and it appears to have this problem... Is getting a new clutch spring the fix for this? anyone?
