Since we're on the topic, what about pronounciations like...

Tein and Bride

These are not pronounced how you'd think either.

I hear Bride = brid and Tein is like tan or something.

I thought TEIN was pronounced like it rhymes with the English word "rain". Or maybe "RAYeen"...

According to Tees USA, Bride=brid...I don't know why

But TEIN means TEchnical INnovation.

When you hear him say "technical innovation" (about 29 seconds in), technical sounds like "tay ku nik al"

This could explain they "tay in" pronunciation.
