I just got the Colgan bra for a 1,200 mile trip from Chicago to Houston. I ended up taking it off after 30 miles -- the end clasps got lose and the bra ends were flapping against the fender. I guess for me the choice was either (a) potential chips from pebbles or (b) potential dents from the bra. I'll have to see if I can bend the hooks so they fit better, but I am a bit underwhelmed at the moment.
It cost $90 from Sports Imports Limited. Search on the 'net for their website.

I bought a colgan bra and I like the thing.
I use it only for highway driving, and it's great. It has kept the nose of my car perfect. I also bought the mirror bras. At 90-100 MPH (I drive n Mexico a lot) every little rock is a guaranteed pit/chip so I love this thing as it has kept my car's nose perfectly clean
For city driving I go braless and I'm just careful to not be behind trucks, pickups, etc. It has worked for me and it is a pleasure to wash a car with a beautiful, smooth face. So, whatever you choose, do get protection!
Cheers,
Daniel
