Default QUESTION

Hey guys, I read somewhere that purchasing and installing the hardtop strikers in place of the soft top ones with get rid of alot of that damned rattling that comes from the soft top. Is it true that I can install the hardtop strikers and this will get rid of the rattling I keep hearing from the soft top?

Thanks

I think a combination of greasing the hinges and felt strips placed in select locations should get rid of most the noise and rattling. The striker replacement, I hear, is for wind noise reduction at higher speeds. A cheaper way of fixing it would be plastic tubes wrapped over top the windshield part of the hinges..
