I don't have an S2000, but I would like to purchase one here in the near future. My parents own a '95 MX-5 and one of the features I really like about it, and I can't find this answer anywhere, is that I can unzip the rear window while leaving the top up and drive around like that.

Can you do this with any of the S2K's? Years?

Nope no zippers.

'00-'01 has a plastic bag window, and all models after that have a hard glass window.

 

There are zippers there, but they are not durable. Not made to be unzipped/rezipped repeatedly.

I beleive it's mostly for install of the top to allow it more give?
