Default question about windows?

Recently purchased '00 S. Are both windows supposed to automatically go down when letting the top down?
The passenger side does but the drivers goes down 1/4 of the way then stops.

You have a defective window regulator. You can try resetting it (search) but it will probably come back.

Search for reset window i believe. If I recall correctly:

1. start the car (it must be running)
2. put the window all the way up
3. pull the window up switch again and wait a few seconds until you hear a click
4. put window all the way down
5. push down again for a few seconds until you hear a click

This is suppose to reset the top and bottom locations of the windows and correct this problem. I have yet to try it as my windows have been working with no issues.

Window regulator failure is a common problem
You can try the reset, but my money is on regulator failure
