Very worth the money. Minimal gains performance wise, but the sound is amazing.

Don't get a bypass valve, they're completely useless unless you actually submerge the filter completely.

Actually in $/hp it's a pretty good mod relatively speaking. Typically 7-8hp, which is as much as any header or exhaust, and 1/4 the price.

On the bypass valve -- people *have* ruined engines from hydrolock with this mod. Usually doing something stupid, true... but for an extra 40 bucks it might be worth it in case you get caught in one of those Texas flash floods.

Check out difference at 6000 rpm, talk about improving midend punch. Didn't really do anything to my peak hp.

If you do find yourself in a flash flood without a bypass just pull over and pull the two hoses that attach to the pipe of the intake itself.

Yeah it will suck in unfiltered air and throw some engine codes but at least you will make it home with your rods in one piece and inside the motor.

When you get home just plug the hoses back in and reset the ECU the small amount of unfiltered air will not cause any damage.

Oh and BTW I bought 4IG's AEM knock off for $120 so the hp/$ ratio is much higher.

the PRM is also very good, and much easier to install....i helped Wis S2K install his 4IG AEM knock off and it took us about 5.5 hours, with a 45 min dinner break.....not horrible, but pretty long considering the PRM took me all of about 45 min from start to finish with 3 smoke breaks!
