Not quite true. Any Honda dealer will do recalls for free. And since the car is now out of warranty, there should be no warranty issues to consider (warranty works are also fixed for free). TSBs, on the other hand, are not warranty work, nor are they recalls. TSBs are updates or modifications (repairs) that are done by the dealer at the discretion of the local service manager. So if you have a good relationship with your dealer's service manager, you can get TSBs performed for free even long after the warranty has expired (and many of us on this board have experienced such "good will" gestures from our Honda dealers). So the bottom line is that you cannot "demand" TSBs to be performed, but you can try to convince your service manager that it needs to be done and you are a good customer. Good luck.

haha TSBs for free......They try to charge you full cost inspection and if the extened warranty doesn't cover it then they charge you for the TSB. Went to 4 dealers in my area same response.

thats when I learned its better to do some things your self if its something minor.
