I have been using this one (the 750 mA version) for the past two winters. It is connected to an Interstate battery from Costco. No issues.

Amazon Amazon

What problems did you have with the S4 battery?

Thanks! Yeah same one I'm using... maybe that other car battery was already old...
Do you disconnect the battery from the car then put it on the tender? Or do you leave it connected to the car?

I leave the battery connected to the car. Here in Colorado there are still opportunities to drive in the winter so it's not in storage the entire time.

I use the connection procedure in the manual: Connect the positive lead, then the negative lead, then plug in the tender. Removal is the opposite order.

Now that is a nice garage. My 03 has its own stall but it shares with my seven bikes , table saw and carpenter tools, and misc. items that I can't toss. Ton of cabinets, shelves, etc. Just a mess but it is warm and dry. Spends about 5 months , out of the weather until it is nice enough to drive with top down. One of these days I will get organized. LOL!

Installed Saikou Michi dual catch cans...
S2000 Dual OCC
Fit and finish is top notch.
I actually don't think I really needed them - the hoses were completely dry... but I guess it doesn't hurt.

Ripped out the catch cans by the way.
Otherwise all good.

I have not updated my thread in a while... figured it was time.
Usually, at this time of year, I'd be posting that 1st pic of the s2k freshly pulled out from winter hibernation except unfortunately this year she is still up on the lift with a mountain of boxes underneath. We are finishing our basement and everything is currently stored under the lift.
I'm hoping it's done by May or June and I'll still be able to get it out for a few months. (We're also expecting twins in June - we already have a 3 year old, so I'm not sure how much time I'll have free for recreational driving)...

Never the less. I ordered a new steering wheel and shift boot/arm rest from Rocket Wires - https://rocketwires.co.uk/online-sho.../rocketretrims - and they arrived today. Wow! The quality is outstanding and I can't wait to get the new wheel installed! Big shout out to Robin for all the great communications and help in sourcing the new wheel and getting it shipped out to me. They are based in the UK.

The wheel is thicker than OEM but not too thick... it should look very nice in the car and should feel even nicer. My alcantara wheel was starting to show signs of wear already and didn't feel as good as leather in my hand (personal preference).
I'll upload pics once it's installed but here's the initial.

I finally got the new wheel installed along with shift boot and arm rest.
I actually added some padding to the arm rest which will be really nice - the OEM one is so hard and after an hour of cruising on the highway my elbow was always sore.
Really happy with this new wheel!
