Love it, I too have the milltek exhaust and it sounds great. I was wondering if you can link the 15mm spacers you got for the front and the rears. Can't wait for more updates!

good deal, it's possible I'm just a liiiiitle bit lower causing it, I may have to go up one turn, because like you, it's only on those really big dips.

I bought the spacers from two different sources for front and back. You need two different part numbers for front and back. CB are different sizes between front and back.

Well it's that time of year again when the temperatures are STILL cold the snow is STILL falling and the roads are STILL a brown mucky slushy salty disgusting mess and I (along with many others) begin to dream of warm sunny days!
This is a dangerous state of affair for an owner of a convertible, especially one that likes to shop online and buy parts that begin to pile up for that springtime day when she emerges from storage!

Last summer I upgraded the head unit and all speakers as well as added a small amp to power them - through I went with quality equipment I just felt there wasn't enough bass so I'll probably go with a stealthbox with JL sub.
I've also bought a new shift boot to match my alcantara and red stitching steering wheel. Plus I had a bit of an impulse buy and grabbed a set of new BuddyClub tail lights. The jury is still out on those though because I really do like the OEM tails, but the vids and pics I've seen of these new ones do look kind of bad ass. We shall see though once I can see em in person. Lastly - I always wanted planned on keeping the car NA but after way too much research I'm about sold on going shipping it down to LHT in FLY to have them install a Kraftwerks kit on it!

I'll update with pics once some of this stuff is installed...

Pulled the car from storage a couple days ago while there was a break in the weather. Shipping it to LHT this spring for their Kraftwerks Kit install. Prior to then I'll be putting in the new shift boot and a Stealthbox Sub. I decided against the new tail lights and have sold them already.
I got a quick drive in to burn a half tank of old fuel before the snow fell again - this morning we woke up to a couple more inches - we're all ready to be done with it this year! Unfortunately the forecast stinks this week.

Installed the new shift boot. I'm happy with it and the match with the steering wheel. I wish there was a bit of a better way to deal with the top of it vs just folding it down - but it is what it is...

Hey there...

I was just wondering what made you decide to get the Milltek exhaust vs the rest? I really want the oval tips as much as the round ones and also I prefer having dual tips vs having just one.
Also, where did you purchase it?
Thanks in advance!

Hey dude, I also currently have the duals and thought i'd give my personal input as well. First off the looks of the dual tips fits so nicely with the rear bumper for the AP2 and the sound to me is perfect. Not too loud and not too quiet either, definitely has a nice deep growl to it. Install was a pain however with the rubber grommets but a straight forward one to say the least. I ordered mine from Hendy Performance and PM'ed Simon here from the forums, here's the link where I bought mine almost 2 years ago. I still love em' and don't see myself switching to another exhaust. I can definitely recommend this exhaust and have made my decision based on those in this forum who advocated for them as well

Initially the looks caught my eye. I wanted to retain oval OEM looking tips. Then further research showed that this was a very low droning system (at highway cruise it has virtually no drone). I'm also a fan of the other Milltek exhausts I've seen and heard - big in the Audi scene. The sound is usually deeper. I wanted more of an "adult" sound vs just loud screamer. I also wanted a 70mm system which this was. I ordered from Hendy's https://www.hendyeshop.co.uk/milltek...--218614-p.asp
Milltek does not regulartly produce this exhaust any longer though so I think Hendy's has a stock and then they special order them once in a while. Fitment for an AP2 was not perfect. There's been a change to the exhaust canal in the later AP2's so it was vibration and making contact with the wall. I had to modify things a bit to get it to fit.

Here is the build vid for the KW kit I had installed by LHT.
These guys do awesome work and it was well worth the effort and cost to send down to them. I highly recommend working with them if you can.
The car is amazing to drive now. Very driveable - same power curve but effortless power and delivery. The car just rips!
