How many quarts of fluid for the transmission? I wanna order some Neo Synthetic now, but don't know how many to order. Help please.

Three, one to flush any of the remaining old fluid and two to fill it up. I use the GM syncro-mesh and it seem to have solved all of my grinding problems. The GM product is a different weight fluid to that recommended my Honda. I think Honda recommends 5W-30 and the GM is 10W30. Good luck.

 

2 quarts is enough. I used Redline MT-90.

Thanx. I have a metal-rattling noise coming from the bottom of the car. Hope the Neo Synthetic helps. I did order some Redling 75W-90 for my differential though.

I never had the grind at all but since it was time to change the fluids. I decided to give GM s-mesh a try. Ever since then the shifts feel notchier and I get the grind if I do a really quick shift when I haven't driven for more then 30 mins. It could be just me but I hated it.
