Default Radiator Protector?

I remember reading some time back about some sort of part that you could buy that would help protect your radiator from damage due to rocks or other debris. Unfortunately, I can't remember who makes it, what it costs, or anything. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I took a look at their web sites. The Grille-Tech costs $60 and the Costal Metals costs $100. I think that the Costal Metals includes the side grill inserts too, but I couldn't determine it for sure from their web site. I'm only interested in the center grill protector anyway. For those that have seen or used both, is one any better than the other? All else being equal, I'll go for the less expensive Grille-Tech, but I have no problem paying for quality either.

grille-tech works fine for filtering out mosquitos down here in new orleans. quick, somewhat easy (although contorted) install. frequently they also offer the grill on ebay.

my understanding is that the coastal metals grill uses metal brackets to secure the grill while the Grill Tech uses zip ties...they both look nice but I personaly prefer the CM installation method and bougth the CM center and side grills. bothsystems look quite nice though. You might check around on this site, I think both companies are offering specials/discounts at this time.

I got a Grillcraft grille for my car and a week later, a big ole steel rod slammed though the front of my car. That grille saved my radiator BIG TIME.
