Did any company ever make a radio valance that eliminates the door? I took the door off my car cause the corner pokes my knee when I drive. Would be nice if there was a valance that was smooth on all four sides.

 

I'd be interested in the same question. Also, how do you go about removing the radio door on an ap1? I might do the same. I find I leave it open all the time anyway because I have an iphone connected to the Alpine head unit with a short usb cable. It drives me nuts.

 

The door used to hit my knee. I then took it off and placed a screw in the hinge so now the door only opens 3/4. Have alpine unit so I can see the song graphics on the screen without bugging my knee
