It was nice Rob thanks for asking.... My dad lives in Hightstown... Exit 8
off the NJ turnpike ... So between that and his work schedule we don't
see each other too often.... So today was nice I took him for a or
two !!! Then bought him lunch after that we just talked and chilled for
a while it was nice.... Its nice because my dad and I never really had a
relationship till after my parents split up a few years ago .... So now we
talk at least once a week and just stay in touch.... I'm thinking after he
gets things in order...work wise and such then we will be able to see
each other more often... Who knows maybe I'll bring him to a S2K Meet
We also talked about going on a vacation together !!! So anyway it
was a really good day till the drive home..... UGGG!!! The traffic was awful

Trust me when I tell you its all these little things you do together that
he will remember forever and hopefully do the same with his children.

Rob, From the sound of it your doing a great job.... And your so
right .... We learn from our parents and then pass those values
down to our children.... My dad and I have learned a lot from each
other these past few years..... If I have children I'm not sure if I know
all the right things to do but I know the wrong things and what not to
do.... My dad and I have decided to break the cycle of our past and
change the future!!! My dad still to this day feels guilty about how
he was with me when I was young....I just tell him it doesn't matter
what happen yesterday...what matters is today and tomorrow
