Monday late afternoon, 06-16-03, 5:30 PM. Warm, sunny, breezy, clear. A day made for roadsters!

Took the top down and drove home with almost no traffic. A perfect roadster day. 2 days rain free. Could this be?

Still at the office but it looks nice outside. A bit hazy, but still nice enough to throw the top down on the ride home. By the way, it was 85 degres (+/-) yesterday. Went to the Angles game - got thier asses spoked like a pack of Marlboro's - by the Mets! What's up with that? No worries - at least is was nice out!

What's up Rob - have a good weekend?

Actually, I think the Dodgers are doing better than the Angels so far . Weekend was nice, though. I spent some time with my company doing some community service up in East L.A. (painting houses, cleaning up, etc.). . It was rewarding to help the community, and those less fortunate, by donating my time and energy.

Then I realized while I was painting the house, the homeowners (by the way were inside the entire time), came outside and asked, not politely I might ad, if we were going to "paint the porch?" Those ungrateful little fers. Not once did they come out and ask if we wanted some lemonade or a - not even a "how's it going" or "thanks alot" or "you guys rock." Nope! It makes you wonder if it's even worth the extra effort? They'll probably never maintain the property, it'll go to shit in a few months, and what will we have to show for it? I guess it's the "self-actualization" aspect for me. Besides that and the game... it was good.

It just puts "things" into perspecive. I'm not complaining, though - I feel good for what I did.

You are absolutely right.

Sounds like you had a good weekend. Doing for others, helping those less fortunate is a great thing to do. We are all prettly lucky to have it as good as we do, and sometimes you have to give something back. Excellent!

2 hours 13 minutes to go and we will set a new record. 2 consecutive days without rain in 2003.
