It seems like there is now about 1/2 the number of posts per page. There used to be 50 per page, now it appears to be 20 to 25.

Fun? Hmmm. We've had this place almost 2 years and we are still doing stuff and buying stuff. Area rugs, phones, TV's. My wife starts re-wallpapering the kitchen tomorrow. I started to put down the 20 bags of mulch and the sky opened up. We even had a tornado warning. . Btw, we've only been here since Saturday night and I have seen a silver, red, yellow, & black. Prior to this trip I had only seen one silver here.

I hear there is a guy named Noah Jones building a large boat in Cleveland. Poor bastards....

Thanks for the offer Rob...I will keep that in mind. Beautiful night out tonight for top-down driving.

Oh, BTW, folks, Rob was absolutely right. The s2ki site's default for "posts per page" changed last night. Those of us that hang out in the Corner have edited our options page (available as a pull-down from the start button) to set it back to 50.

Anyway, just thought I'd let you know one more useless piece of information.

Thanks Charlie. I just reset mine to 50 posts per page and everything returned to normal. This thread looks to be 23 pages by the old standard.

Why did they change?

The site directors made two changes to help things run more smoothly:

1. They locked all threads with > 2000 posts. The goal is > 5000, but they set 2000 as a temporary limit.

2. They changed the posts / page.

This has to do with the bandwidth (and server processing time) necessary to serve up pages to the internet.

There were only something like 27 threads affected by #1... I think most were in the Corner!
