6:30AM. sunny and a little cooler today. 68* going up to mid-80s.

 

5:10 am, currently 67*F....much cooler then the 80 we were at yesterday at this time. Highs today in the mid to upper 90's. Time for this slave worker to hit the road to work

88 today and muggy...but a bit calmer. We had INCREDIBLE storms last night. 200,000 without power, most in MD. Fortunately I wasn't one of them. The beltway here was closed in both directions due to power lines on the road electrifying the guardrails, etc. Yikes!

Just planned a trip to Paris and Naples for the end of September for 10 days...I'm so excited since I haven't been out of town in months. It's going to be so much fun!!! Lived in Paris when I was young and been back a couple of times since. Haven't been to Naples but my fave wine is Pinot Grigio, so it will be wine, wine, wine and pasta, pasta, pasta! Too bad I can't take the baby to drive down the Amalfi Coast. That would really be cool! Maybe I can rent one!
