You little Beastard!!! You took my corner.....

OK, 92 now and nice and sunny. Hubby drove to work with the top down, and my tan is starting to fade. I miss my car Tomorrow I get it back though.

Nice to hear things are going better for you 4. You go to the Dr yet? Grrrrrr. Just got home from work and will only have 1 more day left. Then I get to work swing shift!! !!

Good evening everybody! It's 7:15 PM, still 89*F and muggy outside. I'm still bouncing off the walls from the call I received from the Honda dealership today saying they got confirmation from Honda - Japan of a September 22 build date for my "baby". (Sorry for going on and on about it, but you have to understand the sweet agony I'm going through, day after day reading about your wonderful experiences driving your S2000s, while I stare at the calendar and yearn for the day... )

Okay! Snap me out of it! Thanks, I needed that...

LOL, why should you stop Sleep? I was the same way. My car's Born-on-date was June 27th and I was extatic once I found out the delivery date. He also came in 2 weeks earlier then anticipated!!! Congradulations and I cant wait to see it.

OK, curiosity got the best of me. Give me some tidbits of info on it. Color? Do you know if it got the 2.2L? How about the red-line? Any pix? LOL....I will probably kick myself in the ass if it's not what I expected teh 2K4's to be. Oh well....they dont make Spa anymore so I still got my color choice

Hey 4, you see the police chase in Venice? Going on 45 mins now and the guy is stupid for running. Only a minor property damage hit n run . Some people should jsut stop and save everyone the stupidity.

Wednesday 8:10PM clear and 60*F.

A truly wonderful day, it got up to 85* with low humidity and moderate breezes. There was a division outing to kick off the realignment of part of IT, we all headed out via motor coach to Navy Pier in Chicago and boarded the Anita Dee II http://www.anitadee.com/core.htm for a catered cruise along the lakefront. There must have been nearly 400 people aboard. Got some severe sun, met a number of people that I've only emailed or talked on the phone with, had some great food and generally had a nice time.

We just got back from having a DQ, the drive was slightly chilly so I put up the windows and turned up the heat slightly, and Hilly was comfortable. This car will be just fine in the winter, there is more than enough heat.

Sleep

Great news. I read in the Vintage thread that you hope the car comes in time for Fall Colors. Even if it doesn't, why don't you come. You can attend all of the Saturday morning clinics and pick up tip and trinkets for the car. Also, you can meet all of us. If you register you can attend the Saturday evening banquet. I think you'd have a great time with or without the car. I'm participating in the Saturday afternoon drive, but not the Sunday auto-x. I think you'd have a great time.

Tom

I had my top down all last winter. I had it down in 19*F weather. There is plenty of heat for us die hards. Nothing to worry about. Just get a leather jacket for you and Hilly, gloves, hats and scarves. There is no need to ever put the top up except for rain and snow. You have a glass rear window like I do so there is no danger of the plastic one cracking in the cold. That is the only cold weather top down issue that I've heard of.

Deb

That sounds like a great trip to Europe. Wish I was going.

Thurs am - Another night of fireworks around here!! 20 some schools closed today...no electricity. About 90,000 still without power. MD was the hardest hit, particularly Montgomery Co. - Rockville, Potomac, that area. Still trying to recover from the night before when the new storms hit.

Partly cloudy today - high of 86. Enjoy, y'all...
