Rain again, again.
TGIF!!!
Good grief, I'm glad this week is over.
It's 8:26AM in the windy city, a cold, blustery morning. Cloudy, drizzly and windy, with the temp right at 58*F. It's supposed to clear later this morning and be in the mid-70s, but tonight the temperature in the suburbs is forecast to go down to the upper 30s.
The weekend will be sunny, mid to upper 70s during the day. I'm definitely going to be washing/Zainoing the S and doing some touring with Hilly.

[edit] Corner!!! (missed it on the first edit)

My parents (in McLean) have no electricity...still haven't heard anything from my relatives in Va Beach and New Bern. New Bern is only 30 miles from where Isabel came in at Morehead City. They were hit hard I think...I understand 80% of Va Beach doesn't have power. Still 500K in this area without.

Deb, there aren't pictures of New Bern but it talks about it. Here's what it says,
"Storm surges swelled to 6 feet at Cape Hatteras, N.C. and about 4 feet in the Neuse River at New Bern, N.C. Richard and Lu Hoff of New Bern hunkered down in their 200-year-old home, built by a Colonial governor. "We've been through four to six hurricanes," said their son, Richard. Before the height of the storm, Lee Black drove into New Bern from nearby James City and went to the Sheraton Hotel. He sat in the bar and played a "Monster Mash" video game while the wind roared. "I' going to hang out and have a cold beer," he said, "and sit here and watch the storm ride through." "
If you would like me to send the paper to you I'd be happy too. PM me your address.
