Between Dover and Morristown in Morris County. About 30 miles (I think) east of the Pennsylvania border along I-80.

9:40PM 80deg and clear. A beautiful new crescent moon in the western sky, with Venus several degrees below.

Had a wonderful drive this evening, never did stop to take pics and it's too dark now.

Tomorrow evening we're driving 3 hours to Galena on the IL/IA border to visit friends, and returning late. I'll prolly not be posting again til Saturday, unless I can get online for a bit Friday.

Happy 4th everyone, and please stay safe, my friends.

Tom

Thursday 9:33AM, hazy, hot and humid. Paper says no chance of rain as far as the eye can see.

This came from a joke on the Joke of the Day thread I've been posting to (General Interest/Off-Topic). Seems relevant to this one!! LOL

"Why do toasters always have a setting that burns the toast to a horrible crisp, which no decent human being would eat?"

But I'm sure the toaster that 4 is sending to all of us will not have this annoying feature...
