Default Is this Rain Rail and is this something that I should worried about?

Hello All,
Just saw this behind the driver seat, after I put the top down. Is the gap that I am pointing too a Rain Rail? If so, is this something that I should be worried about (water getting in and potential future rust)? Does it need replacing? Please let me know.

Look in the bottom of your trunk. If this leaking the trunk will be wet.

Chuck S,
Thank you for the quick response. Greatly appreciate it. NO I do not have any evidence of water in my trunk, but I didn't drive it much in the rain. No rust either... Which is good.

Either way, I might just patch the area for now and this might buy me some time..

Thank you again,

Sebo
