it is way more than just swapping LEDs.
The person who did this (djqube or modifry i think) had to design a custom PCB with the voltage and current regulation necessary to run the LEDs.
the pic above uses white LEDs with a blue filter I believe. He could easily adapt the idea above with a 2 or 3 layer filter. I have not heard anything on this project lately. It may have been scrapped due to not being able to implement it at a sub-$600 cost.

There's a motorcycle rev counter/shift light, all programmable with green yellow red. It looks just like an f1 light. It hides in the crack in just behind the windshield.
It makes a great heads up display and is only visible to the driver, the passenger can't see it unless they lean forward can't see it nor can anyone else outside. It auto changes from day night bright modes too.
It's made by datatool.
