RANT: another one slipping away
Change in plans due to weather. Seems more favorable for Wednesday. Flying to Pittsburgh that morning and hope to be out of town before rush hour. If weather and travel plans work, I hope to have a photo or two to post. Then maybe I can make formal introduction and stop being a lurker.
FWLBP, maybe we can meet sometime. You are 1.5 hours away at most.

Good luck on the trip. Did you put a hold on it so they keep it for your arrival?
During the summer months we have a cars and coffee group that meets usually on the north side of ft Wayne. Not a
Huge group yet, only been doing c&c for a couple years. Should bring the S sometime, i'm the only one there lol.

You are the only S for cars & coffee?? I thought the MR2 crowd in Indy was thin but I think two or three of them show up fairly regularly.
Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that the salesman I have been working with is picking me up from the airport and shuttling me to the dealership. Nice touch!
I give you kudos for being so patient!! I am currently on month 3 of looking for my s2000 and it has been quite exhausting!
Though, I have gotten a lot of great tips for car searching in this thread and hopefully will find one soon.
Best of luck on finding the s2000 you want and wait for pictures of the new car when you get it!

No, this is an 06 Suzuka/Nurburgring blue @ Baeirl Acura in Wexford. Patience is not usually my strength, but the cars are out there and as weather improves I suspect more will come on the market.
Yup, I am the only S at c&c. I have seen a black one show up once before. I also ran into a guy at a gas station with another Laguna blue and told him to bring his out sometime. It was funny because we are the only two in the city with lagunas and kept seeing each other randomly around town but never were able to catch up. I do see some yellow, red and silver ones around, but they don't come.
I always had a soft spot for suzukas. I really like the blend between silver and blue, but not a huge fan of the interior. Although. The newer ap2 ones were tamer than the crazy blue seats of the ap1 lol

It all went well. It was a very long day though. Flew out of Indy to Detroit (of all places) then on to Pittsburgh. Salesman picked me up at the airport about 11:30, shuttled me to the dealership, and showed me around the car. It was every bit as good as some good folks from the Allegheny Region forum said it was. Car didn't want to start at first, but that was quickly resolved.
I was out the door and on the road by 2 p.m. for the 5.5 hour drive back to Indiana. The only issues at all involved weather and the fact the car has mismatched tires (summer tires in front and all season on back). Ran into some drizzle / light rain east of Columbus, OH that followed me to just west of Dayton. By the time I reached my exit on I-70 the air temp was 31 degrees, but fortunately the road was dry. I kept speed down and took my time.
Considering it snowed both in Pittsburgh and Indiana the next day, and temps are in the single digits to 20s through early next week, I think I wasted $ on lottery tickets because all my luck went into Wednesday's trip. Pictures and formal introduction to come soon - I hope - once weather permits
Thanks for asking.
