REALLY ANNOYING CLICK
I CAME ACROSS A REALLY ANNOYING NOISE ON MY CAR YESTERDAY , IT WAS RAINING AND WHEN MY WINDSHIELD WIPER IS ON THE LOWEST SPEED IT CLICKS EVERY TIME BEFORE ENGAGING , LIKE IT SOUNDS LIKE THE BLINKER , THIS ONLY HAPPENS ON THE LOWEST SPEED BUT ITS A PAIN . DOES THIS HAPPEN TO EVERY ONE ELSE?
It's the sound of the relay that clicks together when the wipers turn on. You can't get rid of it unless you insulate the relay somehow. This was apparently picked up by Honda as they moved the relay to the engine bay for the AP2's so it's less noticable.
The annoying clicking noise, most noticeable at low speed is normal. It is the sound of the relay switching coming on. It is very difficult to get to under the dash; insulating it would cut down the noise.
