Everything on an ap1 and an ap2 dif is the same except for a change in how they heat treat and temper the dif housing.

The other change is the flange and the prop shaft. Get the prop shaft that goes with the ap2. Switch the flange on the back of the tranny not at the dif.

I am debating just swapping the sylvia diff in since I am already going to be working on the diff as it is. Does anybody know what exactly is needed for this swap to work. I did a search but didnt find much. Thanks for the advice
